All too often nowadays we read and hear criticism of companies giving inefficient service, employing untrained and ignorant staff and being unable to deliver/provide goods on time. I myself have reason to justify the above comments, as over the last few weeks my husband and I have had to deal with numerous firms delivering materials and goods to our house while we have been doing our home improvements. Out of the eight companies we dealt with only one managed to deliver on the day, on the hour and to the actual five minutes quoted by the firm, not only on one but on six occasions. As a busy working mum my time is very precious and most firms could not even specify a.m. or p.m., some could not even get the correct day. I feel therefore that I must praise a local company from whom many other companies could learn a great deal. Over the past weeks my husband has ordered a number of skips from Middleton Skips of Sprotbrough Road, Doncaster to remove building and garden debris. From our initial contact with the company we were dealt with in a very courteous and helpful manner by pleasant and polite staff. Furthermore collection and delivery was made within 5 minutes of the pre-arranged times by courteous and helpful drivers. It is most welcome to deal with a company who teats customers in such a way and I do hope you print this letter to not only say a thank you to Middletons but mainly to emphasise to the general public that there are still some caring and efficient company about today.
