I purchased a Gala Tent Pro 40 Compact on the 18th April 2016, It has been used twice and it has some very serious issues.
The issues are;
1) Two small adjacent end caps are damaged, and 6 others are poorly fitted, this has caused rubbing damage in several places on the canopy and created a hole at the point of the 2 damaged caps.
2) One of the metal feet detached this was caused by the lack of a proper weld and exacerbated, by the movement in the frame, as this is not as solid as there other gazebos.
3) One of the leg/roof trusses jammed and needing a lot of wiggling of the pin to release it.
4) The gazebo is supplied with instructions for another gazebo, which is a very different in design.
5) There web order page shows a completely different gazebo from the one supplied.
Gala tent have collected the gazebo, but despite the gazebo not being fit for purpose and not as described, the company have flounted Consumer Law and Trading Standards Regulations and refuse to give a refund. I have been accused of accidentally/deliberately damaging the gazebo, which makes no sense, as I had 30 days to return the gazebo for a full refund, which I did, and the law of probabilities would suggest that it is impossible to have so many different accidents in one day. Gala Tent I suspect will try and get this review removed as they have tried unsuccessfully to do at another review site. Please avoid this company as there customer service is diabolical and rude, and they will do anything to avoid giving a refund.   28-06-16
